The Sandbar Restaurant is now closed for the season. Please contact us if you require catering.
The Sandbar Restaurant is one of Nova Scotia's newest eating establishments. The facility, designed to accommodate guests, rafters, business clients and visitors to the park, was built in 2007, but not officially opened until the summer of 2010.
There are daily specials (including favorites like chicken wings) and Cold Continental breakfast is served every day from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m during July & August.
The restaurant is unique in many ways but the huge two-tier deck is one of its greatest assets. The deck has a new awning (so a sudden down pour won't interfere with your viewing of the tidal bore) and can accommodate dozens of people for special events, weddings, business meetings and other functions.

Our Opening!
The Sandbar Restaurant was officially opened in July of 2010. The opening was a great event with local entertainment, plenty of great food and a good selection of Nova Scotia wines. And, the weather was..perfect!
